Faculty of Pharmacy Mission

The Faculty of Pharmacy at An-Najah National University is committed to excellence in pharmaceutical education, scientific research, and community service. The Faculty strives to remain at the forefront of scientific and professional advancements locally, regionally, and globally. Its mission is to prepare competent, ethical, and practice-ready graduates equipped with the knowledge, clinical skills, professional values, and leadership abilities necessary to meet current and future healthcare needs and labor market demands, while advancing patient-centered care, innovation, and sustainable development in Palestinian society.

The Faculty fulfills its mission by preparing graduates with the following core competencies:

  • Pharmaceutical Healthcare Delivery: Providing comprehensive, evidence-based pharmaceutical care grounded in clinical knowledge and patient-centered practice to improve therapeutic outcomes and quality of life.
  • Clinical Pharmacy Practice: Applying clinical reasoning and pharmacotherapeutic knowledge to optimize drug therapy and ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient care across diverse healthcare settings.
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manufacturing, and Marketing: Integrating scientific principles in drug discovery, formulation, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical marketing to support the development, production, and appropriate use of medications.
  • Interprofessional Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Communicating effectively and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective patient care and healthcare delivery.

  • Experiential and Specialized Clinical Training: Engaging in clinical training for Pharm D program across multiple specialties, including cardiology, oncology, infectious diseases, critical care, and other areas of healthcare practice.
  • Medication Therapy Management and Safety: Managing complex medication therapies, identifying and preventing drug-related problems, and promoting medication safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
