An-Najah National University’s Faculty of Pharmacy held the inaugural meeting of the Pharmacy Program Advisory Committee to review and discuss the program’s updated academic plan. The meeting featured active participation from key representatives of the health, professional, and educational sectors.


Attendees included Dr. Ayman Khammash, President of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate; representatives from the Palestinian Ministry of Health; and representatives from the Faculties of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences.

Distinguished community pharmacists also participated. The meeting was led by Dr. Nidal Jaradat, Dean of the Faculty, along with Dr. Mohammed Hawash, Pharmacy Program Director, and faculty members Dr. Faten Amer and Dr. Saed Khammash.

Dr. Jaradat opened the session by highlighting the vital role of the advisory committee in ensuring academic quality, aligning programs with market needs, strengthening partnerships with professional sectors, and supporting continuous improvement and accreditation efforts.

The meeting concluded with several recommendations aimed at advancing the academic program and enhancing graduate readiness for local and international job markets. This reflects the faculty’s commitment to excellence and ongoing development.
