
The Deanship of Student Affairs and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University inaugurated the annual exhibition of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) – An-Najah Chapter on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Held on the New Campus, the two-day event aimed to introduce pharmacy, PharmD, and beauty program students to the IPSF’s mission, structure, and newly appointed administrative board, under the theme “Get to Know PSFNNU.”
The exhibition featured multiple stations representing the union’s various committees, including International Relations, Media, Public Health, Student Exchange, and Activities. Each booth offered interactive presentations and outreach to encourage student engagement and membership.
Attendees included Dr. Naser Shraim (IPSF supervisor), Mr. Eyad Aqraa (Director of Student Affairs), and IPSF representatives Mufeeda Afifi (President) and Sahar Qanneh (Secretary General), alongside students and staff. The event aligns with the University’s vision to promote the Sustainable Development Goals, especially quality education, gender equality, partnerships, and sustainable communities.
University representatives praised the IPSF’s role in enriching student life, highlighting the Deanship’s continued support for over 30 active student associations. The new IPSF board was also commended for initiating its activities promptly, aiming to expand student involvement and impact within the pharmaceutical field.
