On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation organized an awareness campaign titled “Fight the Flu: Protect Yourself, Protect Others” as part of its continuous efforts to promote health awareness and spread preventive culture among students on campus. The campaign was conducted to highlight influenza as one of the most common seasonal diseases and to emphasize the importance of prevention and health education in reducing the spread of infections within the community.
The campaign focused on raising students’ awareness about flu symptoms, modes of transmission, and the differences between influenza and the common cold. It also highlighted the most effective prevention methods, including regular hand washing, proper use of sanitizers, wearing masks when necessary, and avoiding close contact when experiencing symptoms. In addition, the campaign emphasized the importance of strengthening immunity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of infection.
The event included several interactive activities such as educational questions, engaging games, and direct discussions with students, which helped deliver information in a simple and enjoyable way and increased participants’ engagement. Small giveaways were also distributed to encourage students to adopt healthy behaviors and spread awareness among their peers.
This campaign reflected the spirit of teamwork and collaboration among PSFNNU members and demonstrated their commitment to their professional and social responsibility in promoting public health awareness and preventive practices within the university environment.
