As part of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment at An-Najah National University to strengthening the practical and applied aspects of student learning, fourth-year students from the Cosmetics and Skincare Department participated in a distinguished scientific and training day hosted by Pharmix in Ramallah. The event was organized in collaboration and partnership with the Department of Cosmetics and Skincare at the Faculty.

The visit was attended by Dr. Ahmad Eid, Head of the Cosmetics and Skincare Department; Dr. Shatha Hanoun, Training Coordinator; Dr. Noor Aslan; Dr. Asmaa Hassan; and Dr. Mohammad Hawash, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. The delegation also included Zaid Abu Al-Rub, representative of the Cosmetics and Skincare Student Association, along with several association members.

The delegation was welcomed by the company’s General Manager, Dr. Shadi Hanoun; Deputy General Manager, Mr. Mazen Dkeidek; and Mr. Saed Dkeidek, Quality Assurance Unit Manager, in addition to the distinguished company team. Pharmix was keen to provide an integrated scientific and practical experience that reflected its leading expertise in the cosmetics and skincare sector and its role in bridging academic knowledge with labor market needs.


Pharmix emphasized that organizing this event stems from its belief in the importance of investing in young talents and contributing to the preparation of a new generation of qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with modern developments and labor market demands.

The visit included several outstanding scientific and interactive activities, ranging from specialized scientific lectures to valuable presentations on skincare products, their development processes, and applications. This provided students with an opportunity to gain insight into the latest expertise and practices in the labor market. The visit also aimed to familiarize students with operational mechanisms in the cosmetics and skincare sector, connect academic learning with practical application, and introduce them to the latest technologies and industry practices.

Additionally, entertainment activities and interactive competitions created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and enjoyment among the students. The company organized a special competition that fostered engagement and a spirit of healthy competition in an environment combining both learning and enjoyment.

Participants emphasized the importance of this visit in developing students’ practical skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market. They praised Pharmix’s role in supporting the educational and training journey of university students, as well as the importance of continuous collaboration between academic institutions and the industrial sector in preparing qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with scientific and professional advancements.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Department of Cosmetics and Skincare and the student association expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Pharmix for the warm welcome, generous hospitality, and fruitful cooperation. They commended the company’s role in supporting the educational process and enhancing both the scientific and practical knowledge of Cosmetics and Skincare students, while extending their best wishes for the company’s continued success, progress, and achievements.
